Cire Perdue Art - a unique collection of South African Bronze Sculpture
Cire Perdue Art is focused on the selection and distribution of limited edition works of art, specifically bronze sculptures, for our Customers to enjoy and treasure wherever they live in the world. These selected pieces of timeless beauty may be viewed both on this website, our online gallery, at our gallery in Gauteng and at other points of display and public exhibitions.
Cire Perdue sources bronze sculptures from a select pool of South African sculptors, with whom we work extremely closely. The sourcing and authentication of bronze art is a skill based on intense exposure to, and intimate working with, bronze sculpture for a significant amount of time. Cire Perdue draws from just such expertise.
At the core of Cire Perdue lies the Goodwin Foundry, a bronze casting foundry which has, since 1995, become known and recognized as critical to the success of South African sculptors working in the KwaZulu-Natal province.
The works of art which constitute the Cire Perdue Exhibition have been selected for qualities that will outlast the, at times, faddish nature of the art trade or simple fashion . Bronze sculpture can be, if expertly selected and legitimately endorsed, not only a genuine financial investment but, more importantly, an object which imports undisputed beauty and substantive meaning to the owner’s life.
